Welcome to our brand new website!
Mazooma! It's been a long time coming, but feast yer pearly whites on this all new monster-tastic website! Yep, it's an obvious tribute to one of the greatest model kit lines of the 60's, but to this day nothing says "Gearhead" more than our weird motorized pals. The cool thing is, even though the look is 100% new, the navigation and store still work exactly the same way, so you "old timers" should find it easy as eatin' a slice o' pie finding your way around these parts, and if this is your first time here: welcome you greasy maniac! We'll have the links up shortly, and will be updating the playlist on the radio station soon plus there is a whole mess o' new merch in the works so, as always, bookmark us and check back often.
At last! Gearhead Magazine on MySpace
You can only be a "fuddy-duddy technophobe" for so long before public outcry demands that you get with the times (or your girlfriend shows you how easy something is to do - whichever comes first) so (ahem!) we are proud to announce that Gearhead Magazine now has an
official MySpace page. There are lots of cool pictures and other fun treats, so surf on over and hook up with us. We are especially looking forward to getting linked up with our subscribers and long time readers - you know so much about us, but we hardly know ye! If nothing else, MySpace is a great way to get to know you all better and make our globe spannin' community that much tighter. You'll find our page in all it's glory right
here.
Gearhead #16 coming soon!
Gearhead #16 will be out soon, and we can already tell that it's going to be killer! Running with the whole "Sweet 16" idea like no one else could, the world famous Japanese artist
Rockin' Jellybean has been commissioned to do a very special cover that will blow your mind! A full interview with him by
Dirty Donny, unpublished excerpts from the recently released The Hot Rod World of Robert Williams, and a trip to
Deke Dickerson's annual Guitar Geek Festival are just a few of #16 features. All the usual columns and more, and of course no one combines rods and rock like Gearhead, as witnessed in an exclusive piece on
James Hetfield's new '36 Ford project as well as skating legend
Steve Caballero's '35 3-window coupe. Really, you don't want to miss out on this one, we plan to have it out in June, so keep an eye out for it.

Advertise in Gearhead - it's quick, painless and gets great results!
If you're interested in being a part of history, just drop us a line right here and we'll get our outrageously affordable ad rates right out to you. Of course there are deep discounts if you commit to taking an ad over several issues, and as an extra bonus, we are creating a new links section on this site that puts our advertisers right at the top! Hey, it's the least we can do to return the support. We close this issue out on Thursday June 21st, so let us know if you're interested sooner than later thanks!
Where is your Ebay store?
Everything on this site is available at the amazingly comprehensive Axis Records & Comics Ebay store. It's as easy as clicking right here, then typing "Gearhead" into the Store Search. You should be able to find what you're looking for, plus thousands of other quality items as well. We are always standing by ready to serve your Gearhead needs, but if you dig shopping on Ebay, you still can kimosabe.
That's it for now as always, keep the rubber side up and check back soon (and while you're here, you might as well buy something... seriously, please buy something!)
